Q: What is Gordon Rocker’s musical background?

A: I started singing at the age of 3 at nursery school. My first live performance on a stage, I did at the age of 5 years old. I liked all styles of music. When I was 7 years old, I heard Elvis Presley and became a huge fan. I used to often sing at school and I had my own band in high school. We did pop songs from the 1980's. When I started doing music gigs full-time, I would perform at various 1950's style diners. Then I started performing at various parties, corporate events, wedding receptions, and theme parties, where I was asked to do various styles of music and that's when my repertoire expanded to hundreds, if not thousands, of songs.

A: I really enjoy singing and strumming the fast-paced rock 'n roll songs. Although, I also really enjoy singing dance and disco songs and getting the crowd moving as well as singing ballads with feeling and emotion.
